Access Free Food at Mountain Resource Center

Individuals and families can visit our on-site food share market once a week. We are set up much like a store. Individuals self-select what food to bring home with them each week. In our food share, our goal is to offer healthy and diverse food options, including fresh produce, whole grains, meat, and dairy products. We provide personal care items, cleaning supplies, diapers, formula, and infant care items. We partner with local grocery stores and rescue thousands of pounds of food that may be thrown away. By visiting our food share market, you are helping to reduce food waste in our community.

Our cooking classes are designed for families and individuals of all ages and take place in our state-of-the-art kitchen. Our goal is to provide valuable education and tools to empower participants in creating delicious and nutritious meals. We use ingredients that are in season, and often can be found in our on-site food share market. Each class features hands-on instruction, nutrition lessons on various topics, and a shared meal. Our cooking classes are a wonderful way to build your cooking skills and connect with community members.
