MRC is hiring for an Event Coordinator for our Signature Fundraising Event of the Year.
The Bowls Event Coordinator position will provide project management for our annual signature event held at Woodlands on the evening of Thursday, September 8, 2022. This position will have access to a team of staff and volunteers who will help them to plan and implement this event successfully. This position should expect to work on a contract basis between Monday, July 11th, and Friday September 16th, 2022.

POSITION AVAILABLE: Temporary Community Health Assistant through the Jefferson County Business & Workforce Center.
This position is COVID-19 specific and grant funded, so candidates must meet eligibility criteria such as being laid off through no fault of their own, laid off due to the pandemic, being unemployed for 27+ consecutive weeks back from today’s date, and/or closing their business due to COVID-19.
Job Summary: This position was created due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the related increased need for service delivery and programmatic restructuring. Under minimal supervision, the Temporary Community Health Assistant performs essential hands-on, fast-paced tasks related to moving the pantry back in to the main building while maintaining pantry operations, including procurement and implementation of food distribution, utilizing data systems such as Salesforce, and documenting activities as required by program goals. The Temporary Community Health Assistant oversees the day-to-day operations, including maintaining temperature and cleaning logs, supporting, and leading volunteers, prepping inventory for Food Share Drivers, creating attractive, welcoming signage and flyers for products and programs in the pantry, increasing the community awareness on the issue of hunger. Additionally, this position will be responsible for transporting products, leading volunteers, and maintaining order and efficiency at Mobile Food Share sites. Responsible for being a representative of the Mountain Resource Center’s mission and facilitating Mobile Food Pantry distributions in a respectful, non-judgmental manner.
Hours: 32-40 Hours/Week
Pay: $18 – $20/Hour (Depending on Skills)
