Keeping the Lights On: How MRC Can Help with Utility Bills
For many families across our mountain communities, rising utility costs can put an enormous strain on monthly budgets. At Mountain Resource Center, we understand how difficult it can be to juggle heating, electricity, and other essential expenses—especially during times of uncertainty or recovery, like those many are still navigating post-COVID-19.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) to connect individuals and families with programs that help keep homes safe, warm, and powered.
What Support Is Available?
Through our collaboration with EOC, MRC can assist with:
🔌 Past-due energy bills – Avoid disconnection and regain stability.
🔥 Heating costs – Especially important during Colorado’s colder months.
💡 Electric and gas support – Keep appliances and lights running for daily living.
We work directly with households to submit applications and ensure the necessary documentation is in place. Our goal is to make the process smooth, respectful, and stress-free.
