The new MRC Health Clinic, on-site at Mountain Resource Center, is for uninsured and publicly insured children ages 0 to 20.

Outside of regular office hours, Urgent Care cases will be seen at Evergreen/Conifer Pediatric offices.
The clinic provides primary care and treatment such as:
- Well child physicals
- Newborn exams
- Medical illness
- Sport physicals
- Treatment for injuries
- Adolescent GYN services
- Developmental disorders
- High altitude medicine
Cost for services is based on public insurance co-pays and a sliding fee scale for the uninsured.
Public Health Insurance
All children need health insurance. Did you know a family of four can have an income of $3,767 and still qualify for public health insurance? Once enrolled, you have a choice of health care providers in our community, as well as Kaiser Permanente. The insurance covers inpatient and outpatient hospital services, physician services, prescription drugs, dental for children and mental health care. MRC's Pediatric Health Clinic accepts CHP+ and Medicaid clients. Talk to us! We can enroll children up to 18 years of age and pregnant women into these insurance programs.
MRC is a Presumptive Eligibility (PE) site.This is a Medicaid and CHP+ program that provides immediate temporary medical coverage for children 18 and under and pregnant women. The temporary medical coverage lasts for 45 days while eligibility for full health care benefits is determined.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
(Provided by Park County WIC)
WIC at MRC serves lower income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, and infants and children up to age 5 who are nutritionally at-risk and live in Jefferson County. Park County residents will continue being seen at the Bailey, Co location. There is no cost for this program.

Nutrition Classes
Eating Right is a groundbreaking nutrition education program that connects low-income families with healthy eating practices by teaching how to prepare healthy, tasty meals on a limited budget. Classes are hands-on, taught by professional chefs, dietitians and nutritionists. All class members receive recipes and take home a bag of groceries each week to reinforce and practice what they learned. There is no charge. Sessions are 6 weeks.

Mental Health Services
Mental health counseling services are provided at Mountain Resource Center by Jefferson Center for Mental Health. Cost for services is based on public insurance co-pays or a sliding fee scale for those without insurance coverage.
