Wonder Years: Early Childhood & Family Education
The Wonder Years classes are based on the belief that a parent is a child’s first and most important teacher. In the first few years, children learn at a faster pace than at any other time in life. The classes offer high quality learning activities for you and your child, help nurture a child’s growth and development, and provide support for adults in their parenting role. Parents and children attend the classes together and siblings are welcome to join.

(Infants to Age 5)
- Together Time: The classes begin with a variety of activities for the children and parents to explore and learn together. Activities include art, circle time, sensory tables, stories, and other age-appropriate educational activities. This is a time to “take your child’s lead” and enjoy a special time together.
- Parent’s Time: Join other adults to share ideas, explore parenting books, discuss child development information and current parenting issues, and make new friends. Parent’s Time is facilitated by a Parent Educator.
- Children’s Time: While the parents are in discussion, children learn through guided and creative play, socialize with other children, explore the classroom activities, listen to stories, join circle time songs and games, and have a snack together.
