Family Education Classes Discovery Time: Fridays: 9:15-10:30 a.m., Crawlers to 5 years
Mom! Dad! Come explore with me! My brain is growing and Discovery Time is a perfect place to join me in art, music, circle time, and lots more! I get to create, explore, learn, socialize, ask questions, and make new friends . . . and so do you! My teachers will share new ideas that match my ever expanding need for play and learning. (Discovery Time does not include Parents' Time. The class is dedicated to parent child interaction and social time)
Cost: $30/month or punchcard for $60 for 8 punches
Enrollment Details: Discovery Time meets weekly on Fridays 9:15 to 10:30, beginning October 7, 2011 and ending May 25, 2012. Families may enroll anytime throughout the year, space permitting. Siblings under age 5 are welcome in all classes. Classes have limited slots reserved for siblings at 50% off tuition. During times of disaster in the community, Mountain Resource Center (MRC) delivers crisis assistance to fire teams and first responders. One of MRC’s first jobs is to organize the community’s need to help into manageable tasks. MRC acts as a source of central communications to keep emergency lines clear for first responders, coordinates volunteer help and community assistance and offers aid to victims who need counseling, financial aid and other resources.
